The Left’s Problem
I rarely read the New York Times anymore. The only time I find myself on their website is by clicking through another link. Most of the time I find myself there, I don’t even read the article, since I know their bias has become extreme. But I did read this article, because I wanted to see what kind of dirt they dug up on a Governor whose approval rating is over 80%.
What the article shows is the fatal weakness of the Democrats and their left-wing base… it’s their refusal or inability to recognize the validity of any point of view other than their own. One would think in a state where the governor has almost 90% of its citizens approving of the job she’s doing, that they might find something positive to say, or at least might temper their criticism with an acknowledgment that the vast majority of people disagree. The view the NYT chooses to report is arguably “extreme.”
But to much of the left… to almost all the MSM… their ideas of mainstream are way left. Couple that skewed and myopic view of the country with their refusal to acknowledge, let alone understand, the other side, and you have the explanation for their cries of “Stolen Election!” that we will no doubt see in November.
